About
JETmusic: UK-Based K-Pop Blogger & Playlister
I'm Josie, and I'm slightly obsessed with K-Pop music - So much so that I decided to start a blog about it.
Nowadays international consumption of Korean music & media is less of niche; with BTS selling out stadiums across the globe, and Bong Joon-Ho's Parasite becoming the first non-English language film to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. As someone who has been captivated by Korean culture since 2016, it's been incredibly interesting to watch the Hallyu Wave take over the world.
I used to hate manufactured musicians, and now I can't get enough of the slick choreography and addictive tracks (thanks to a range of Korean & Global genius producers).
JETmusic is the place to find regularly updated K-Pop Spotify playlists, comprised of the bops we all know & love (Haechan knows what's up), as well as freshly discovered Korean tunes that I've had on repeat. I hope to share a range of content on my blog, including: your typical album reviews, posts delving deeper into the business side (I'm a business student & a nerd for marketing, so this is kind of a given), and the fangirl stuff!
If you'd like to get in contact with me, please feel free to send me a message via social media or using the form below!
And to all the boomers out there who may have stumbled across this: No, this isn't a website dedicated to PSY's Gangnam Style (although that song is still a certified banger).
