SMTM9: Stray Kids Changbin and D.Ark Returns
SMTM9 has just hit the screens, and Stray Kids fans are freaking out: our dark rapper Changbin is a contestant and he's luckily passed the first round! Producer/judge JUSTHIS looked impressed, so Changbin's already doing better than his failed attempt in SMTM5.
Teenage rapper from SMTM777, D.Ark, has also returned - he seems more mature now, and I can't wait to see how his rapping & style has developed/improved.

BTS 'Dynamite' Samsung UK Ad
THIS IS BIG NEWS - BTS has fulfilled my expectations/predictions by licensing their latest single 'Dynamite' to Korean tech giant Samsung, for their new Galaxy advert. It's been a while since we've had such great Korean music synch in a UK advert (the last one I remember is Skrillex, Ft. G-Dragon & CL 'Dirty Vibe' for mobile network Three). Hopefully more licensing opportunities prevail for K-Pop artists, helping push the Hallyu wave further.

SEVENTEEN 'HOME;RUN'
I'm loving this swing style track; it's quintessentially Seventeen, but also entirely different to their previous comebacks. Hoshi absolutely killed this one! It's also great to see ARMYs supporting Seventeen since Big Hit Entertainment acquired their label PLEDIS.

Such a fantastic, catchy track - It's very in line with the 2020 trend of revisiting 70/80s genres of music (see BTS 'Dynamite' & Dua Lipa's 'Future Nostalgia' album). EVERGLOW have been blessed with very talented producers!

CHANGMO, 김효은 & Hash Swan 'One More Rollie'
As shown in my last post, I've been obsessing over K-HipHop tracks, and as a result have gotten into Ambition Musik. The beat of this track is simple yet addictive, and Hash Swan's killer 'Goosebumps' line is absolutely iconic!
